Love Data Week: RDM from all Angles

Love Data Week: RDM from all Angles

Presenter(s):
Louise Gillis, Shelley Brown & Karl Vollmer

FAIR data, OCAP principles, funder requirements, active data storage and security compliance... research data management is far from straight forward. In this one-hour session, we’ll provide a brief overview of research data management (RDM) as a practice, introduce Dalhousie supports and services, and make connections across units.

About your presenters:

  • Louise Gillis is Research Data Management Librarian with Dalhousie University Libraries.
  • Shelley Brown is Director of Strategic Initiatives and Programs in Dalhousie’s Office of Research Services.
  • Karl Vollmer is Research Computing Team Lead, Information Technology Services, Dalhousie University.
