How I learned to stop worrying and love Dal's new Active Data Storage Service

Presenter(s):
Conor French & Karl Vollmer

ITS's Research Computing team is rolling out its Active Data Storage service to researchers on campus. The objective is to provide a safer, more robust solution to local research data storage, complementing the existing local and national offerings.

We'll present the current status of the service, as well as how to sign up, and get started saving and serving your own data through this new centrally managed storage offering. All this, in under 30 minutes.

About your presenters:

  • Connor French is a Research Computing Technician, Information Technology Services, Dalhousie University.
  • Karl Vollmer is a Research Computing Team Lead, Information Technology Services, Dalhousie University.
