Research Bootcamp: Gearing up! Key resources in Engineering and Applied Science research

In this session, participants will be introduced to important engineering and applied science resources such as Compendex on Engineering Village. Compendex is the most comprehensive bibliographic database of scientific and technical engineering research available, covering all engineering disciplines.  Participants will also be introduced to other resources such as the IEEE Xplore database and engineering-specific ebook collections including Knovel and Access Engineering.   At the end of the session, participants should be able to navigate the different search platforms, develop a search strategy, use the Compendex facets to refine results, retrieve the full-text using the Get it @ Dal feature and more.
