Drag Storytime with Rouge Fatale

Dal Libraries is hosting a Drag Storytime with Rouge Fatale on Friday, November 24, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the MacMechan auditorium at the Killam Library. This event is open to faculty, staff, and students and will feature a Drag Storytime reading followed by a discussion panel. Join us for a discussion that is informed, open, respectful, and that draws on expertise of Dal’s faculty and research community.

Our discussion panel will be moderated by Rick Ezekiel, Vice-Provost, Student Affairs and will feature:

  • Matthew Numer, Professor, Health Promotion in the School of Health and Human Performance and cross-appointed to the Gender and Women’s Studies Program.

  • Stephanie Kapusta, Associate Professor and undergraduate advisor in the Department of Philosophy, cross-appointed with Gender and Women's Studies, and cross-appointed with Law, Justice and Society.

  • Roberta Barker, Professor of Theatre in the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

  • Jason Spurrell, Drag and Burlesque Performer/Producer.
