Free workshop: Make a Red Dress Pin for Red Dress Day
Join us on May 5, Red Dress Day, to make a red dress pin. Red Dress Day is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S), a time to honor and remember them, and to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis of violence against Indigenous people.
Michelle McDonald, a beader from Sipekne’katik and Instructional Support Technician, will lead an in-person workshop where participants will create a red dress pin.
